Problem is - Middle-class film makers don't have a clue about these people. These films are all about trying to shock the audience into submission. It may well shock your average middle-class viewer, for everyone else it was weak. Come on a couple of 8 stone kids killing an adult, and then not getting out of their blood stained clothes. Really? How these get a Bafta i'll never know. Must have been the middle-class judging panel. This is the problem with the British film industry. If its not a costume drama its about the lower classes. Film makers don't have a clue, so decide to make it up - and very poorly at that.
